While at the temple this week I spoke to this young mum. She was happy for me to take a photo of her son - but she was a bit shy and moved slightly out of frame! I quite like the result though
He has the face of an old soul... So interesting to see that while she cradles him upright, she is also wishing to show him off. Even as she moved out of the limelight, I think that tells a story as well.
This is lovely. She looks lovingly at him, supporting him, he looks out into the world .... it's perfect! The position of the two figures in the frame is just right and there is enough contextual information for us to picture the whole scene .. to imagine the story. And it is so right in black and white. Love it! Fav!
