Chase Farm hospital. I've been having issues with my back for years and was referred to the physio department back in November. Today I had a 20 minute massage. It's easing the pains but it's not nearly long enough and I don't feel that they're going deep enough into the muscle either. Time will tell. But it's a gorgeous day to be out. Blue skies aplenty.

Yes it did - had a microdiscectomy done by a neurosurgeon (much more delicate skills than orthopaedic!). Made all the difference for me. Pilates helps too and especially good hip strength and core muscles. Keeping the supporting muscles strong and balanced protects your back as does good posture - no crossed legs ever either! I do wish you well with yours.
