These little birds put a smile on my face this morning as I travelled in to work. First there was one and then another swooped in. For the first time in ages I'd brought my lunch into work with me. Cheese rolls. I couldn't resist giving them some. I know you're not supposed to feed them bread but I was wondering - what do they actually eat anyway?
They eat insects but are also fond of corn and other whole grains and birdseed! Bread is supposed to be a no-no but I can't remember why! Hope you didn't give them the cheese as well though LOL!! Nice shot. Like how this one is swimming straight at you looking hopeful!
@paul10 That one at the front was a greedy bugger. Or maybe they were just hungry.
