Today my husband tried to look up a school buddy of his whom he hasn't seen in over 43 years. all we knew was the town and that he spends the summers there in a trailer park. so we left early in the morning and drove to the town and tried all the trailer parks located in that area. by 12 o'clock lunch time we finally located the right place and were told by the owner that Juergen, that is his name, left early in the morning but that his wife would be there. we were given the site number and pointed in the right direction which turned out the wrong one after all and after a lot of asking other people there we finally found the place (1 1/2 hours later) and a after a warm welcome we had a nice conversation with his wife whom we didn't know until Juergen finally arrived home. boy did those two guys reminisced and all in their hometown dialect. i, coming from North Germany hardly understood a word of it but it was fun after all seeing those two so happy that they after all these years finally met again,. so the picture for today is one showing birds this fried of his is raising.
