March 10th was a day at sea so one of us got up early in the morning and reserved a deck chair as we liked to be mostlly in the shade. Grace with being red headed and a fair complection kind of shies the sun. the evening before we walked around to familiarize us with the layout of the ship when we came across a little place which we named our open tea room. it was higher up with a pool area steps below. as you can see it had artificial grass on the floor and cushioned garden chairs except for the one day where we had a bit of rain in the morning and I guess the cushions got all wet and were removed..so we carried some deck chairs up and had our daily afternoon tea. we enjoyed it so much that we spent time there every afternoon reading, palying cards or just sat and enjoyed the early evening before it was time to get changed for dinner (dress up- oh what fun.)

love all of the festive colors! I am not a huge fan of day at seas....Id rather be exploring some unfamiliar territory on a tropical island......BUT, they always have some fun activities going on dont they??
@deesdiscoveries. Thnk you Dee for all your comments. since we have explored these islands before we did enjoy the time at sea. lots of time to bond again with my lovely daughter...just the two of us....
@bluemoon yes we had a great time on shore but also relaxing afternoons on board. time just went too fast also this was my first 10 day cruise all the other 10 cruises were only seven days.
