The picture uploaded without my comment. was going to tell you that my day started shitty..my lap top wouldn't open up after I turned it on this morning.. no idea what's wrong. so Hans took it just now to our service guy to see what he can do about it and I'm sitting here on pins and needles waiting for his return with either good or bad news. so lets keep our fingers crossed that it's good news. in the meantime I started taking down some of the Christmas decorations to be replaced with whatever was there originally in this case this piece of driftwood Hans found over 30 years ago..after letting it dry out he worked on it till it had a nice shine to it..it's balancing over a long nail..that is the open horn part is over the nail so it hangs down..can you picture it in your mind? oh hold on..Hans is just driving into the driveway..let's see what news he brings. good news. they told Hans that this can happen so just ignore it..let is sit for a while and bingo after he came back and we tried it again it worked..all is ok again in my little world around 365.

Love the way he polished it. Gives a whole different feel from usual examples of driftwood. Glad your computer is OK. That can really throw you for a loop when it occurs totally unexpectedly.

I can see a dog's head in the left-hand side of the wood.
