When I got up this morning (slept in) it was already going on 9 am I went down to our sunroom where we have our computer desks. first thing I always do is look out the windows to see what is happening by the birdfeeders. It had snowed overnight and there where lots of little foot prints but not one bird in sight..odd not even the squirrels or the mounring doves where there...I started writing this comment here but got distracted..in the meantime it is now 12 noon and still no activity that I can see of..so that tells me that there must've been a hawk circling around early in the morning and it usually takes over half a day before some of the birds dare come back out from their hiding places. It does feel eerie.....
This is a great photo, bruni .. looks like a deserted town. Those hawks must frighten everything away. Had no idea that they would stay away so long tho. Very interesting.
