I copied this picture from an e-mail..apparently there is this lady in Pine, Louisiana who is waiting the arrival of the hummingbirds on their migrating route passing over her property. as you see she is holding a dish with sugar water ready for the birds to have a quick refreshing drink before they fly off again.
Oh how very cool! Hummingbirds are hard enough to shoot when they have their own feeder! This is so cool she can get them to eat right out of her hand like this! And there are so many!! Well done!
I don't know- I'd really have to see that in person. Whenever I've had more than one here, they fight quite fiercely over the territory. One year they were so aggressive with one another I set up a separate feeder.
This is an awesome shot and wish I could take one like this. My hummingbird photos are a blur. I have not seen one as I cannot see my Pineapple Sage easily and they take nectar from the flowers.
