I saw some movement in the thicket of our pine tree in front of my computer window. camera handy, I took a lot of pictures in rapid sequence. this was the best one of them all. look closely, I think I caught them kissing. we have an expression for it in the German language called " schnaebeln " the beak is called a Schnabel. I just had another look. I think they're building a nest. she is sitting in the tree and the male is supplying her with nesting material.
Oooh!! Those look like Mourning Doves! I have a couple that like to sit on my roof and coo in the morning. I need to get a pic of them soon! Nice shot, Bruni! :)
