After yesterday's appointment with the Orthopedic doctor Hans and I went to visit one of his brothers and family. we took country roads instead of the highway. these roads are very narrow and just like walking you're either driving up or down hill hoping for no oncoming traffic.
btw. the doctor prescribed some muscle relaxant and a heavy pain killer which also makes you drowsy. needless to say I had a good night's sleep. I'm slowly getting better.
@gerry thank you Gerry. the orthopedic prescribed some medication to relax the mucles and for inflamation and also a pain killer..enough for 10 days and if that doesn't help I have to see him again. it is slowly getting better with all the walking we do. thank you for viewing and commenting on my pictures.
Very nice shot, Bruni! It's lovely :) We have some narrow roads like that around here too. And I tend to speed on them because you are less likely to come upon a police officer using radar! LOL ... Very pretty country side. So glad you got to see the doc yesterday! Muscle relaxers and pain pills are sometimes necessary but they are worth it. Just make sure you don't overdo it even if your back feels better because you could make it worse. So be careful young lady! And great job on this shot!
@digitalrn Rick, most highways have no speed limit whatsoever. Hans drives about a hundred but there are so many who driver over 150 miles a minute. crazy.. on those narrow country roads speed limit is 30. roads in town vary from 30, 50 to 80. with parking on one side when a car comes towards you you have to squeeze over to the side and let the oncoming traffic pass . everyone is very friendly and there is no problem changing lanes. when you squeeze in the one you go in front of will automatically slow down and let you in. with the many curves and up and downhill I'm not going behind the wheel. Hans loves driving here, well he learned how to drive in this town in his teenage years.
