Blue jay on the prowl by bruni

Blue jay on the prowl

First I must mention that our tenant took these pictures which I like to share with you in this collage. he is known to leave some peanuts for the squirrels outside his entrance door and this blue jay got wise to it, so Tom watched him coming closer and closer. he saw him first flying back and forth between our close line and the back yard fence, before the blue jay finally dared to fly down to the front of the door to snatch a peanut. Tom told me, he was only a few feet away from him when he took these pictures.
Great shots

What great shots! You should point him to this site! It's nice he shared these with you! And so glad you shared them with us! Blue jays are certainly sneaky and they are fast too! You need to snap it quick before they are on the move again! Great collage of his shots. Tell him I said thanks for sharing! :)

Great shots and gotta love the birds as they will go after peanuts and get quite close to people to do so.
