It was a blistery cold afternoon when Hans and I drove to the tree farm where we, for years already, cut our own tree. we used to take the grandchildren along, but that was a long time ago. now it's just the two of us.
What a lovely tradition. We cheat and buy a 'fake' tree, but if I lived up north I would probably do the same...well maybe, it sure looks cold! This really is a pretty scene and you captured that falling snow so well.
With this type of weather I stay at home. Only on pic.`s I love it. Do you get use to it ?
What a sweet lovely story/reminding . Also with us it`s a passed station
What a beautiful shot, Bruni. I am amazed that you still cut down your Christmas tree. I love the smell in the house. It has been years since we have done this and have had a fake tree for years and now a small fake tree. I sure miss the smell though. Enjoy your tree. FAV
Very pretty! I had always dreamed that Jeff and I would do things like that together. But I married Scrooge. )o: Perhaps that's why I miss the boys even more at Christmas- at least they humored me!
