When I pulled back the blinds from our sliding door to the deck this is was I saw. the sun is shining now and all the frost patterns have melted away. update on temps: early morning minus 28 C feels like minus 38 with the wind chill factor. another day where I won't stick my nose outside.
it's suppose to get a little warmer by tomorrow.
Boy ,you have really cold weather too. YES,this is not our first snowfall . It is the first large storm . Starting our year off bad. but atleast I am like you ,I am not going anywhere only took some photos and staying in today.Usually I work to clean it up at my school but took vacation . I am a Head Custodian at a Elementary School and that is part of our duties but not this one. This is the first time in 25 yrs. that I did not have to come in,yapee!!
@demelo Ann, a friend of mine just retired from a Custodian job and I know from here what a hard it is. so it's nice to know you got some time off. I enjoy your pictures so much and like to thank you for commenting on mine.
Great way to exhibit how freezing cold it is your way. It actually is a bit chilly here today only in the 40s and going up to the mid 50s. To me that's cold :-) BTW, I go in Monday for my ablation surgery for SVT. I guess it was similar to what you had but mine is not heart related and will correct the nerve endings that short out at times causing arrythmia.
@cimes1 Good luck Carole. hope it takes the first time. you probably know I had a second ablation this October ..19 days shy of the first one. I seem to be fine now. I'll google SVT and see if I can read up on it. there seems to be so many different procedures and when I mention atrial fibrillation everyone is asking me if I were a peacemaker, and that is not the case.
@cimes1 Carole, I just read up on it and it explained the differences between SVT and my condition. yours they say has over 90% success from the start. I was told the first ablation had a 70 % success rate and with the 2nd procedure the success rate is over 90%. my next follow up appointment with the cardiologist is in March. btw typing error shld read wear not were in my first comment. sorry.
@bruni Thanks for your comments. Yes, my cardiologist gave me paperwork explaining the procedure and it says that it's 90-98 percent effective. He himself told me 98, so hopefully it works. I'm glad your 2nd one went well and wish you all the best for 100% success in recovery.
Great shots, Bruni. Burr, I would not want to live in the snow. It is in the mid 60's F here and getting to the low 40's F in the morning. Cold and sunny and not windy at all. I feel for those who have to go outside. Stay nice and warm.
@darsphotos You know, this is the time where Hans and I usually went of vacation and by the time we came back, the worst part of winter was over. I don't venture out much when it's that cold.
Beautiful frozen windows , greatly captured
