What did we do to make it look better. well first of all Hans removed the old broken down Jacuzzi and replaced it with an extra large bathtub. he built a small standing was which holds the plumbing. it has a mirror door at the back for easy access. we replaced the lighting fixture over the vanity mirror, also stripped down the paint from the old vanity and gave it two coats of fresh white paint with black trim. the countertop and sink are new. the last job was to scrub the shower stall and give the tiles some fresh grout.
I won't be posting pictures of the bedrooms as there isn't much to see, just some fresh paint and new carpet. all the doors and trim in the apartment received one or two coats of varnish. job done.
Wow! What a great job you and Hans did with the bathroom! Great shots of it, too! I want to live there! The bathroom looks like it's about the size of my current bedroom!! Oh please let me move in!!
It is so refreshing after you do things like this. A pain till it is all done, but so worth the while. I just wish I enjoyed painting a little more than I do
@joemuli Joe, When we still had the Jacuzzi, now this goes back 27 years ago, the phone rang while I was in the Jacuzzi and I got up in a hurry not thinking and slipped with my wet feet on the tiles. thanks for reminding me. I'll have to tell my lady tenant to be careful.
