This picture was taken around 9.00 pm just before sunset. it was kind of dark already and we thought the sun was hiding behind the clouds. it was the evening were we called it a night, but then I turned around one more time to look at the sky and to my surprise, I saw the fire ball in the sky.

With a bit of editing, I brought out some of the pretty colors of this duck. not the best of pictures, but it'll have to do for tonight. it's been a busy day and then I received a call my daughter was in the ER, so I rushed out there and spent quite a few hours with her. just got home a few minutes ago and realized I hadn't posted a picture yet.

@cejaanderson She will be in time. Grace fell down some stairs two days ago and hurt her ribs. tonight she was out with a few friends and while having dinner at a restaurant, she had to cough real hard and the shooting pain to her ribs was so severe, it made here dizzy and then she fainted. she hurt her head in the process. all was in uproar and someone called for an ambulance.
@bruni So sorry to hear about your daughter. It was good to get her to the ER with what happened in regards to her fall and then fainting like that though pain can make a person faint and hitting your head hard needs to be checked out. It is so hard to have our kids (always our kids no matter how old they are) hurt in any way. I hope she was able to go home and feels a lot better in time. So scary. Take care and rest well. I know you will worry as parents do. Take good care of you.
It sounds as if your daughter has broken or cracked a rib or two. In my experience (not personally but with a hubby who did not realise the risks with hanging on behind a boat etc) it is very painful with coughing, breathing but they can't do anything about it! Good to know - it heals itself. Worrying for you though and you would be so tired!

Gee ,I am so sorry to hear that.I know how bad that can be.I fractured my rib years ago from a car accident and went through the same thing plus having a concussion too. Not funny. Prayers to you and your daughter. It's always hard on the parents .Try to take it easy .Take care ,good luck.

Hans and I left the ER after her partner arrived. there was only one visitor allowed, so Hans was sitting in the waiting room. when Grace called me this morning, she told me that at 11.45 pm they were still waiting for the results from the X-Ray which were taking around 8 pm and it looked like it could still take hours too get the results. the ER was so busy. unfortunately they decided to leave and go home and Grace, when she called me this morning said she'll take it up with her own doctor, as she'll get the results from the tests and X-Ray. kids!!!!!!
@bruni I am glad Grace was ok to leave the ER. It can take so long in the ER for test results or for a full workup. I spent 10 hours a month ago. I know how frustrating this is to you and Hans but she sounds like she was doing ok and will get her results of testing probably on Monday unless something shows and they call her or she calls her Dr and gets results that way over the weekend. I agree, kids!!
@bruni I to know what it feels. I got once a bad hurt in my breast when I woke up. Get to the doctor for examination. He laugh at me and ask of I `ve a good marriage. ????? He told me this often happen when two people sleeps together and one turns in his sleep and hit you with her/his elbow . As you at sleep this have n`t to be a strong/hard one.
