The first fish huts by bruni

The first fish huts

It looks like the Bay is finally frozen and the first fish huts have appeared on the opposite shore of Cooks Bay - Lake Simcoe. most likely the lake has still open waters. I took this picture right in front of our little park. see the snow fence.
Feeling a bit better this morning. had a haircut yesterday and that cheered me up. getting ready for our vacation. better to pack now than after the ablation procedure on Tuesday. hope the recovery time is short as we're leaving Saturday, today in a week for Florida.

Looks so cold! I like the fence lines in the foreground and the different shades of blue.

And now the snow comes and they'll have to wait a few days. They should enjoy it soon enough though.

I LOVED to go ice fishing! With or without fishing huts or fishing houses as we called them!! You won't see any of these in FL!!! LOL Sending prayers all goes excellent and the healing time is super fast!! FAV!

I remember your photos of this area. I love it. Winter has definitely set in. I hope Tuesday goes well for you and you and Hans have a wonderful vacation. My husband tells me he is not going to tell me when he has planned vacation as I have been sick or in the ER or Hospital last year each vacation time he had. Wishing you the very best. FAV

Well I guess your write up on this picture answered my question from the other... Glad you are still going along with your trip! This is a nice shot. I'm glad the ice finally froze enough for them to fish on. The weather has been so bizarre. Hopefully you don't get warm weather that causes it to melt any time to soon!
