@stownsend Thank you Suzie for your lovely comment and cocngrats. so much appreciated.
This scene and many others you will find when driving along the southern shore of Lake SImcoe. we're located at the Bay of the Lake and llive only four houses away on a side street. we see a lot of snow-
biling, para-sailing, people going for a stroll on the lake and of course ice fishing. some people just drill a hole in the ice and sit or stand there to do some ice fishing. others take their fishhuts (as we call them) and place them on the frozen lake. they're allowed stay on the lake until about March 15th. so you see there is a lot of activity during the winter month.
@bruni Thank you for responding need to know! I understand all but the strolling on the ice! That cracks me up that people would stroll about on ice and snow but then I have never lived in a place like that. One winter in Jackson Hole I did do a snowmobile trip across a frozen lake. Scared me to death being out there - so I went very fast! I really appreciate you sharing this photo with us and explaining it to me. I hope you have a lovely week.
@kathiecb Your right. when I looked at some of my postings in 2010 I saw a comment from you. I never realized who you were at the time, thank you
Kathie.
