When going for a walk, I always pass ahouse where this dog is behind a fence in the front yard. he never barks, but looks so forlorn.
I love dogs. years ago when a woman moved into the house next to ours with two big dogs, we're pleased to welcome her to the new neighborhood.
the lady was a retired school principal and was called in at times to help out for either vacation or when a principal was on sick leave. I felt sorry for the dogs being cooped up for long hours and so I offered to take them for walks. they also gave me a reason to get out walking. sorry to say, after years my friend and neighbor moved to Newfoundland.
(Don't even think of it, I'm too old now to handle a big dog).
Awww, what an expression! Poor thing wants a walk.
I love dogs, too. At the moment I can't have one, because the school I work in is 1'5 hours away, so the poor animal would have to be alone for a very long time - the whole school day, plus roughly 3h commute... it wouldn't be fair on the dog. I hope I will be transferred in September and then, once I know exactly how the schedule in the new school is (and once we get a "normal" schedule after this virus, which doesn't look as if it's happening next year), I might think about a puppy.
(Sharing is multiplicate it )
