On our gettogether yesterday we decided to go to Blythwood Park in North York and walked from there to Sherwood Park where the off leash dog area is and also all those stairs to climb. we were lucky, we had a wonderful breeze and walking in the shade was nice and , therefore, climbing all those stairs made it easier too. I know we counted them once, but I forgot if there were 166 or was is 266. all I know is that there're a lot of them.
@wakelys the little fellow is a chipmunk. it belongs to the same family as the ground-- and tree squirrels. the chipmunk is about 10" long and if one takes the time to feed them...mostly peanuts. find out where they hide and from there draw a walk with peanuts to a place where you sit. hubby has them trained to climb up to him and take a peanut out of his shirt pocket. also our grandchildren when they were young, they held them in their hands. I've pictures to proof it.
