I went back to Coombe Hill today to take another shot of this fantastic Memorial. Although I took a few shots, I felt this one meant the most, depicting the focus of today with the memories of the past.

Thats some fantastic looking memorial.these all popped up after world war 1 as so many men were lost, people needed somewhere to remember their dead.........so awful, you have depicted this so well, love the out of focus and the simple poppy...........
Thank you all so much, I have no idea why I took the shot like this, but I am glad I did. This is straight out of the camera by the way, I held the poppy up with one hand and took the shot with the other.
@lynnb - Hi Lynn, you may have missed my description about 5 posts up from yours. I simply held the poppy in one hand and took the shot with the other. Just to confirm, this has not been edited at all.
