I was not very inspired my the words 'Stained Glass'.
I thought about lipstick on a wine glass (but I don't wear lipstick, Mrs B is in Scotlandshire and I have drunk all the wine).
One of the Pups suggested a 'Miss-read', 'Stained Arse' (but the Pig gave me a funny look when I lifted her tail) and by the time the boss had let me go from 'After School Class' it was to dark (and late) to do anything else.
Lucky for me, I did have the foresight to stop in Chesham on the way to work and quickly snap of St. Mary's Church (built in the 12th century).
Interesting transition architecture between the Romanesque and Gothic. The large front window (pointed) and the stone buttress support looks classically Gothic, but narrow round window and the spire on the bell tower and the overall stone quite Romanesque. Great church to have in your neighborhood.
Thank goodness you took note of the poor dog...! This is great, and I completely believe you that the windows are stained. (Seeing as it's not April 1st)
