So, after a whole week of overcast weather including rain and snow, the sun comes out on the day that we have 'Showers/Umbrella' as our work of the day in our challenge.
Lucky, Mrs B is back from Scotlandshire (with Whiskey) and was happy (?) to hold the watering can over my bits...
Your little fellows seem to be letting the water run right off their backs. I think I need to find some little helpers for my photos. Bright, sunny and dry here too.
This is great! Obviously just a shower though as I can see the sun on the other side of the garden! Amazing how today is the first day all week that it hasn't rained/snowed and the word is rain! That's called sod's law I think ;)
How big are those bits? They look enormous. Do the neighbours think you are mad? Joking aside this is fantastic and all credit to you for actually bothering to do today's challenge (unlike some I could mention)
I think a lot of people have had to resort to their own rain dances today for the majority of shots! I'm beginning to think i should have saved my shot for tomorrow's words now :D
I laughed when I read the word/words for today. It's been the clearest, hottest day of the year so far! Can you believe it. Haha. Well you did a good job with this shot....my showers were shower of confetti. Had to think out the box, for sure!
Hi there, I've just discovered your page via @nicolaeastwood who is also good friends with the little people!! I may be visiting a railway model shop soon... BTW, really glad you are still posting after your 1st of April post :-)
Lovely scene, can't believe you had to fake the rain in this country, in April! Love your little chaps, sorry they got a soaking and I hope they have dried off now.
LOL - Isn't Mrs B so kind. We had no rain yesterday whilst I was taking my brollie shot - it decided instead to rain during the night whilst I was in bed!! Sunshine today though.
I thought you were being Mr Weatherman! The guy on the ( its either a small lighthouse or a fire hydrant). - is he reading his iPad, or eating fish and chips?
As creative as ever Bulldog! Now, if we can have a rain theme every day in May (which fingers crossed would produce a day as lovely as yesterday) that would be great...! Anything you can do to swing that.?
It's a shame the man in the big cost started to fall over in the heavy rain, but Mr B would not do another take.
