Todays word is 'Bokeh' and although we have done this word a few times, something else cropped up today that I just had to take some shots of.
I was up fairly early this morning (about 06:00) and in time for the dawn chorus. The strange thing was, one of the 'chirps' appeared to be louder than the rest and did not quieten down, when I closed the back door?
After a few hours of going out of my mind with the constant chirps and searching the house from top to bottom for a stray bird, it was Pig who started peering at the floor by the patio doors.
Upon further investigation, I noticed a couple of Sparrows trying to push food through the airbrick outside and to my amazement, there appeared to be a baby Sparrow, caught in the cavity wall, behind the airbrick.
There was only one this I could do... Wake Mrs be up and get permission to start knocking the house down (a bit).
