Nero is very difficult to lure back into the cottage especially if the sun is shining. Syko sits at the window waiting his turn to go out and howls like a dog. They are not allowed in the enclosure together as they fight too much.
@wakelys both my cats live in a very roomy cottage. If they want to go outside they have a big enclosed area. I prefer this to them being killed on the road (a road frequently used by farm lorries) or severely injured by farm equipment, or poisoned as many cats have in the are, poor pets and owners. They both live happy lives with lots of birds in the garden and plenty of wildlife to look at. When we lived in Australia (WA) they had a cat law where the cats were not allowed off the property, as they killed off the wildlife (protected indigenous) so our cats are used to being indoors and in a big cage outdoors for fresh air and sun. It’s a lovely garden
@cafict They are obviously very much loved and cared for. Thank you for the explanation. I look forward to seeing many more shots of Nero and Syko. I was an anxious cat owner as worried if he was gone for too long and sadly now longer have him. Most evening he would come for a walk with us. Jasper was a cheeky black & white cat.
@wakelys they were born in Oman. They are Middle East cats - more dog like. Very affectionate and very chatty. They growl at vets. As long as they have plenty areas to go in the cottage and we keep expanding their enclosure they seem very happy.
