Took advantage of a break in the almost continuous rain and drove across to the south coast of Wales to make a first visit to Ogmore Beach, which sits on the Bristol Channel. It's very unspoilt and a great place for walks and rock-pooling but by all accounts get very busy in the summer. Sometimes I prefer this type of beach in the winter when it's a bit bleaker and the crowds are gone. You see the beach for what it is.
