This ornate bandstand is situated in Hexham Park,Northumberland.It is particularly attractive and has been well-looked after.The dog in the shot is a guide dog.If viewed large you can see his harness.

Love those pictures of bandstands.. They remind me of slower times in the "good old days" when people could enjoy Sunday afternoon concerts in the park.
@dulciknit .Yes,I googled it ,and quite a lot goes on there.We,also have one in Abington Park,Northampton,and there are brass band concerts in the summer.

Mind, my friends and I used our local bandstand as a roller skating rink when the band wasn't there. It made a good one, if a bit on the small side. :)
