Grey Heron

Out for a walk yesterday morning,I was so pleased when a heron landed in the long rushes,quite close by.I managed to get closer to him and get a few shots.It really made my morning as he's usually on the opposite bank,or at the far end of the lake.

Lovely Heron capture. It seems the Grey is very similar to our Blue but much lighter in color.
