George and the boys are going to Crete this evening, for a week,to visit his parents. They haven't seen the boys for about 4 years so will be amazed how they've grown into young men.
Many thanks for all your views, comments and favs, always much appreciated.
lovely composition - Fav Have you seen any of the troubles with the migrants while you have been there? We keep seeing dreadful scenes on the news each day and I must admit I've wondered how things are there.
@rosiekind. Yes, I've seen and heard, very angry with the BBC 's biased broadcasts. They have no sympathy with the problems the police have to deal with. There are 50 police on the island, and over 7500 illegals.A lot of them have no respect and expect everything from a country that is struggling to get by. Their habits are filthy and if provided with decent surroundings, they would treat it badly. George has just gone to Crete, he was getting quite stressed with it all and was glad to get away for a week. They held some police hostage yesterday, but of course that wasn't reported. Unfortunately the problems won't disappear, as hundreds arrive nightly. There are also a lot of economic migrants jumping on the bandwagon.
