The soft effect is rather pleasing, but was this your intention? When you say you have photographed this in manual mode, do you mean the the mode and/or the lens? The white flower on the right is in focus, was that what you were focusing on? Depending on how wide your aperture is will determine the focal length, but you probably know that already! Finally I do note some noise and that is probably that the ISO was a bit high. This can be modified in post production, but probably European day light in summer, you could have reduced the ISO for this image. I hope you don't mind my critique?
@marshwader thank you so much for taking the time to comment it is greatly appreciated and any critique is invaluable. I am on a very steep learning curve exploring how to use my camera to the best of both our abilities
With this shot I was aiming for a dreamy look and was trying to get the flower on the right as the main focus. Camera dial was manual iso auto in the evening probably where the noise is from as I seem to remember the sun had almost gone
I don’t have much time for practise in the summer months as either on a horse or in a tractor neither ideal places for a camera!

Lightroom mobile or snapseed are where I’ve started dipping my toes into 😜
