Just when things were beginning to look up Omicron knocks us back down. With restrictions being reapplied everywhere it looks like it may be some time yet before life returns to something resembling normal. Escape remains a dream.

Nice capture, sure feels that we are not over covid problems yet. Hasn't really effected us yet, but opening borders has started a spike in people who have it and it's summer here. Fingers crossed we get on top of it soon.
Starting to feel really trapped again, I have to say. Hoping we don't go into another lockdown. Bored with "protect the NHS" because it costs so many people so much more in terms of mental health, other diseases and injuries that go untreated, businesses that collapse and education interrupted. We have been giving boosters to almost a million people a day here. One wonders why we bothered to get vaccinated if it doesn't give us back our freedom.
Chris, I wrote to you on your collage shot - you won the MFPIAC challenge and it is still waiting for you to set up the next round. Will you do the honours? If you are too busy, we can sort things out. Just reply to me. Or set up the next round (I'll know the answer if you do that ;) )

It does feel a little like here we go again. I just cancelled plans for our Christmas party....maybe be next year.
