For a belated birthday gift for myself and my best friend's mother, we were treated to a concert at The Arboretum in Arcadia, CA. The music was absolutely beautiful and played by Cal Phil during much of the evening. Once it was dark, another group called The Fab Four came out and sang and played some wonderful Beatles tunes, with the Philharmonic orchestra behind them - so amazing and so wonderful.
Throughout the "park" you can see a variety of wild life including a multitude of peacocks and right now they seem to be in full swing of mating, as this gorgeous specimen seemed to enjoy squawking and showing his lovely plumes not only for the female peahen near-by, but also to those of us within camera view.
I always love to roam the grounds and take in the beauty of the plant and wildlife ~ this photo reminds me I need to do that more often.
