There is a very long story behind the first meeting of my paternal Grandmother Dora O'Brien, but instead of explaining the past (almost) 41 years, I'll just say that I am so blessed, happy, lucky and every other verb you can think of in a situation like this at this time. Dora just turned 88 years old and for her to find out that she had a long-lost Granddaughter in me was "the icing on the cake" for her.
Happy birthday Grandma Dora ~ I hope we can share a lot more time together.
