We had to purchase a gift and other assorted items for a baby shower today, so after the shopping was done we visited a wetland area not far away. This is a great place for biking or walking, and there are also a number of geocaches in the area, but we just paid a brief visit today for our photo of the day. Most of the birds were on land chasing visitors for food. This one swam past the observation platform I was photographing so became part of my composition.
