Begonias by chikadnz

Begonias

We've been out of town the last few days so have fallen behind on the project, continuing to photograph each day but not having the chance to edit or upload, so now playing catch-up!

Today John (@nzkites) and I explored the tropical plant hothouse next to the rose gardens. I was experimenting with a 50mm 1.8 lens, having a go at closeups with a shallower depth of field. As my usual lens is an 18-200mm, the 50 took a bit of getting used to. I'm looking forward to more practice with it!
I loved the colour of these begonia plants.
I like the patterns and colours.
