This morning John's sister and her granddaughter were returning to Napier after staying with us for a few days. After I dropped them off at the bus depot, then took our car to the garage for a service, I called in at the Historic Village to find a photo for the day. I was only there a short time before getting a phone call from my nephew, saying he wasn't well and needed a ride home from work. While at the Village I also met my sister-in-laws mother unexpectedly, so a busy family day!
Some of the attractive old buildings at the Village have had scaffolding in place for a while, and today it was uncovered. It seems that the roof is being replaced. I look forward to photographing again when the work is completed.
