Up early to try and catch the sunrise up Mt Manaia (am trying to do some training as have a tramp coming up in a couple of weeks). This is only 45 mins to the summit but a pretty relentless climb up.
They very cool bit was actually seeing a kiwi - it was trying to run away from us but doing so along the path ahead of us. This was only the second time I've seen a kiwi in nature - am still buzzing!!
