Mountain road

On the third day there is a 3km walk down the mountain road to get to the next section of the track. I thought this would be easy and in some ways it was, however the hard road surface gave me a blister in my heels as tramping boots are just not designed for the road.

No, walking on the road is definitely hard. you just have to keep your eyes on the inspiring views.

@jgpittenger @kjarn I agree now that I've tried out. I already changed it from a portrait to a landscape as I was a wee bit down the hill when i took the photo but I hesitated to crop if more. Thanks for the advice :)
