The tanuki (sometimes called the Japanese badger, but they're very different creatures) statue outside a bar near my house.

@jyokota I've been a bit rubbish about tags recently(!) Funny that the only two tanukis on the whole site are mine though... Life here is pretty simple at the moment - stuck in quarantine for another week so just having a bit of an indoor staycation.

@cityhillsandsea Maybe some day I will go back to Japan! (I can't recall a Time when I had to skip an entire year of returning home) and I will find a Tanuki to photograph and tag. Now THIS kind of Tanuki, probably possible. The wild? Only you. Enjoy that stay-cation, a better concept than quarantine.
