This photo--a #tbt of sorts--was taken while riding a mule up the steep, rocky cliffs to a monastery atop a mountain outside of the city of Lalibela in Ethioipia. Not only did the altitude literally leave many of us breathless, the view--and the fear--was enough to take one's breath away. When I find myself getting too caught up in the minutiae of modern life, photos--and memories--like these are the perfect antidote.
