Lately, I've been spending a lot of time trying to figure out how to raise children who are not only kind and compassionate, but who don't live in a constant state of "I want..." The excesses of our world feel nearly impossible to keep at bay, but then moments like this one give me both hope and resolve to help my children find joy and entertainment in doing and creating and imagining with whatever is at hand rather than simply consuming. Oh, and I'm trying hard to apply those same rules to myself, which is often just as difficult!
@heather4528@gracefullyetched Thanks! I'm a writer by profession and I'm finding that I am enjoying this process (and the results) even more when I can add a story or anecdote to a photo.
