I went on a field trip today with my granddaughter, Natalyn, and her preschool class. We visited The Discovery House, a hands on museum for children.
I had to play with this giant house fly robot. You could move the wings and the head. Very cool!
The Discovery House is connected to my favorite place to take pics, The Greenway. Unfortuately, we are having a major frog strangler today, and all I could do was look sadly through the museum windows at the downpour.
This is a very intricate and intriguing piece of work. Great capture.
(By the way, did you mean to say you were having a 'frog' strangler, or is it meant to be a 'fog' strangler?? I have this vision of everyone out in the rain strangling frogs!!! If that is the correct word, please explain!)
@girlie It's a country saying around here! LOL! If it's coming a frog strangler, it's pouring down enough to choke a frog. We also say it's raining cats and dogs. I don't know if that is one you know. :0)
@girlie I looked it up in the Urban Dictionary to see if I could explain it better. It's a rain event so torrential that even adept amphibians drown. Sounds better than my explanation. LOL! :0)
