Today I did the craziest thing I've done so far to get my 365 pic! We were driving on the interstate and the clouds were so beautiful! Big rays of sunlight were shining everywhere. I told my husband it would make a great pic, but our windshield was dirty! Ours never looks nice and clean like Richard@chard's windshield! :0)
He asked if I wanted a pic! I told him I did, but I was afraid to stand on the side of the busy interstate. He looked at me, pulled to the side of the road, and opened the sunroof! I really didn't have time to think how ridiculous I might look! I unbuckled my seatbelt, stood on the seat, and climbed through the sunroof! I took three shots, as the big trucks and cars whizzed by!
I told my mother about it and she rolled hers eyes and shook her head! LOL! My family knows about my 365 addiction!
I am just really hoping I don't see a pic of me somewhere looking like some crazy woman taking pics of the sky from the sunroof! I bet I made a few people really wonder what in the heck I was doing! LOL! It was FUN!!! :0)

Love the photograph and am chuckling over the story! I bet some of my neighbors look at me funny as a crawl in the grass to take pictures of buttercups too!
Some people just do not understand what drives us to do these things, LOL. It turned out beautiful, now get back in the vehicle, sit down and get your seatbelt on.
You daredevil you! lol! My husband had to talk me out of stopping on the side of a major highway to get out and take shots of bear cubs on the side, so I totally get it. Well worth it for this beautiful shot though!
ahh I feel the heat,, nice one, and believe me,, you will not be the first nor the last to do something like that.
I had some dick the other day stop on the over pass to take a photo of the Cascades,, right in front of me,, at least you pulled of the road...!!!

This is magnificent! My car has a sun roof, but I'm not this creative. This is just absolutely beautiful! I will fav it for th e picture and the fun story :)
Safety first this has to be a good thing and your little story definitely put a smile on my face. So pleased I'm not the only crazy one around here. Oh and more importantly your efforts were well worth it.
Beautiful sky. I love the ray shooting out from beyond the clouds. I take sunroof picture of the sky sometime but I've never gotten to nerve to acually stand up and do it. Mine are usually just sky unless theres a tree overhead.

Beautiful pic!! When I read the title, I thought the 'sunroof' was the clouds. LOL! My beamer has a sunroof, but it's broken. I totally need to get it fixed now. I can't imagine what great shots I am missing! LOL
