When I left work this afternoon, it was cloudy and the sun was hidden. Driving home I kept trying to figure out what my pic for the day could be. About three miles from home, the sun popped out. I was so happy to see it!
By the time I was home and able to take pics, it was hiding again and dropping quickly. I was in the hay field and turned around to head for the house. This is what I saw. The sun had peeked out for one last hurrah. These trees are in my back yard.
I will be glad when the days get longer. It's so hard to be inside during the day. I miss my camera! :0)

We are in the same boat wishing for the longer days. I think I'm going to celebrate the winter solstice simply because it will be the end of the shorter days and then mark the beginning of stretching!
