Eastern Phoebe

I've been seeing this little bird in my yard for about a week. It's a new bird for me. It's an Eastern Phoebe. My goal is to get a closer shot with better detail. :0)

When I was looking at this bird on the Tennessee bird site I use, I listened to the bird's call. My inside cats were hilarious! They kept looking for the bird. Ginger walked all around the laptop and even tried to get her paw under it. Of course, I had to play a bunch of the bird songs just to watch Ginger and Little Buddy's antics!

Oh my gosh! That is so funny about your cats. I am about to get an app for my IPHONE that plays their bird calls and has ID pics...that should help when on nature walks. If I have time to check that. We have lots of Phoebes here. I got shots of those Phoebe parents protecting their nests in the spring. You are so close...funny how you don't have them much....very pretty pic!
