This Mockingbird did something I've never seen before. It was sitting in one of my plate bird feeders eating. I was so surprised! They hang out in the trees where the feeders are, but they do their hunting in the fields. They like insects and berries.

Beautiful tones - wonderful detail - I love this shot! Fav. Even with his colors (or lack thereof) he is such a good subject for a shot and comes out looking so above all.
