Critique/suggestions welcomed for any of my shots. I want to improve so appreciate any comments you have.
Edit: 28/3/23: It seems I'm not good at consistent...
i lived in muscat for three and a half years a long time ago and i feel wistful every time i see current photos of everyday life there. a few of the best years of my life. it was always hot and i wasn't much for photos then otherwise i'd have taken lots of good pictures. of course the landscape was much barren then even in the city. the few photos i managed to take of the country aren't much for viewing by others. there were no digital cameras then and a woman taking photos of buildings caught attention as much as arising suspicion. the country was just waking up then, so to speak.
continue to take photos whenever you can. and i'm sure you can always go back to this place on a sunny day, perhaps before the afternoon golden hour and catch the beautiful shadow of the steps. i am into painting now, and perhaps i would paint a likeness of this one day, if i have your permission. aces!
@summerfield yes, it's still awkward at times with the photos, but I'm sure much better than in the past. Need to be careful not to infringe on privacy. That's a good idea about going back another time. It was the washing that initially caught my eye, but the stairs look cool. You're very welcome to paint this if you'd like to.
I don't know Ingrid, but I'll look her up, thanks :)
