In fact I'm going to turn 43 in may.
I wanted to do a self portrait but everytime it's a fail, I really look like an idiot ! I don't like my smile.
May be I look like an idiot on that one but it's not too bad, with all my wrinkles, 100% natural.
I do assume every single one, they are the proofs of my giggles, worries, insomnia...
This shot has been taken by a friend with my camera during our "girls night's out", we use to do that every 2 months...we laughed like teens and I love it. We're doing a sort of contest : the one who takes the worse picture of the night has won !
This shot could have won because of the "excellent" framing, but the winner is another one of me with chocolate on the teeth....don't even ask me to show it !

Quant aux rides (rares et belles chez toi), je te rejoins : ce sont les vraies marques de la vie, de notre vie ! Et un visage qui reflète la vie est mille fois plus beau que ces visages figés que l'on peut croiser...
Enfin ces soirées filles dont tu parles : j'adore !! Ma meilleure amie vit en Belgique, nous essayons de faire un we par an juste toutes les deux à Paris... c'est dans un mois, il me tarde !!
Pour finir, Bravo pour ce joli portrait ! et profite bien de ces dernières semaines à 42 ans... :p
No fair teasing us with the chocolate shot and not letting us see it. Sounds like a wonderful time with your friend. I agree with you selfie seems to be my toughest challenge. You can never seem to please the client.

You have a beautiful smile and a twinkle in your eye. We all have giggles, worries, insomnia. They are what define us, and the wrinkles? Well, I have never understood what the problem is with them, they show a life that has been lived, enjoyed, where laughter and tears have happened.
Well done for having the courage to do a selfie, you are braver than me :)

Mes rides ne me gênent pas mais j'ai tellement d'amies qui commencent à faire des "petites retouche" ... tu as raison, les résultats, à la longue, sont pires que les effets du temps !
Pour ton WE à Paris : je te souhaite de bien t'amuser et d'en profiter, ces moments de liberté et même de régression totale ( en tout cas chez moi !) font un bien fou !! ;))

I just turn my shot in B&W instead of colored, cos I can hide myself behind the B&W... I mean it's me but not really me....
You look fabulous. I'll be 49 in May (eeekkk, when did that happen?) and so far haven't been brave enough to attempt a selfie. I'm not sure I still feel 20 but certainly no more than 30! Thanks for sharing your selfie with us!

What a beautiful selfie. You have a really nice smile and love the green used in this photo. We all have wrinkles, they are a sign that we have lived, smiled, frowned, etc. How nice to have girls nights out.
