I was dreaming of taking this kind of shot so, at nightime ...a quick walk in the desert halls of the Martinez hotel...I frightened myself.....

@catwoman2 Jack Torrance is Jack Nickolson in The Shining, but you're right, when he runs in the hotel to kill her wife he shout something like "johnny is here" I read it was a reference to an American show ;)
@ksyu thanks a lot Ksyu, I just hold my camera I was standing. For the focus I have pre-programmed on the setting of my camera a sort of tilt shift effect (it's a line not a point) + a saturation of the colors.
After I just readjusted a bit because my WB was not good.
I have tried to recreate the feeling of terror that the film "the shining" inspired me ....
If you've never seen it, watch it you will never see a desert hall with the same eye ;)
the shining is my all time scariest film. I cant watch it. terrifies me. that is what the shot reminds me of. great shot with cool patterns, symmetry and colour though
