I heard bad news on TV : Hervé Gourdel, a 55-year-old Frenchman was kidnapped last Sunday in Tizi Ouzou, in Algeria, by a group connected to the Islamic State, which threatens to execute him within the next hours....
The same affiliated organisation asks his "brothers" to kill "dirty French" (and other people from USA, Australia..).
I'm French, but that is not the point.
I'm feeling angry, we are living in a mad world.
My older daughter has booked a travel to Tanzania, Africa at the beginning of 2015, I spent the last hour making research to evaluate the degree of dangerousness of it....
I think it could work for the theme of the week, flowers are in suspension aren't they ?
@susale Tanzania seems to have some troubles in the northern part and by the sea side too, especially in Dar es Salam, in the national park too ...it's dangerous to walk alone, or by night...so I'm still considering the possibility of canceling....

@parisouailleurs elle doit partir avec sa classe mais entre le virus ebola et le risque terroriste ... Ca commence a faire... L'école ne semble pas inquiète encore...
Beautiful high key flower. If people would stop and look at them more often maybe there wouldn't be so much hate. I wish the best and hope the best for all captured by these barbrians hiding behind a cause as an excuse to kill. Big calm breaths are needed.
Your picture is lovely... I really like the high key and soft colors. Today's news is so distressing, I have a hard time listening to it - bombs falling, decapitations occurring. Just so painful. I am sad that your daughter has to fear exploring the world. :(
yes, it can be a dangerous world, but the vast majority of people are kind and loving and as beautiful as your photo. Even in the midst of chaos, most humans care deeply about others. Remember that.
It is very sad the world at the moment, I' m Australian so understand where you are coming from. Prayers for all the people in these terrible situations. My son and husband travel overseas a lot with work and I must admit I am starting to worry more and more.
Lovely high key shot Corrine.
The is exquisite and a fav. When I read what happened to this man and others, although I am far from a violent person, I feel i could do violence to those who did it, if I got the chance.
