I love these! Do you plan it all out beforehand or just make it up as you go? So curious about where you get all the images, how you plan it out, etc. :)
Your collage is super detailed close up and the colors pop more far away. Do you clip from magazines? Love this. I'm a quilter and love mixing lots of fabrics like you've done with your collage.
@juliedduncan it’s a long work : first I collect tiny pieces of paper everywhere (I always have a pair of small cisors and cut from magazines, adverts commercial papers...) then I class by colors.
Then when I have enough I start to glu on my canvas , i have to place the paper cutouts before sticking them like a jigsaw, that is the harder part : as none of the paper are part of a giant jigsaw it’s my job to do as if it was !

@pplutz yes I think we are doing the same : you with fabrics and me with paper ! I cut from magazines that I collect everywhere I go plus from advertisement or food stickers or flyers... and so on : everything made of paper in fact !
